A nurturing parent is one of the most important and influential people in a child’s life. What is nurturing behavior? It is rooted in a parent’s love and caring, and greatly helps shape a child’s growth and development. Fathers and father figures are especially important. Some fathers are present from the time their child is born, while others may find in a relationship with a new partner who has children. Perhaps a father has come back after a long absence, while in other instances, a granddad or foster parent may be raising a child. We believe most fathers really want to develop and strengthen their parenting skills in order to be the best father they can be.

If you, or someone you know could use some fatherly support, please consider the Nurturing Father’s Program. This program will help build effective parenting skills for happier, and healthier relationships. This free workshop is offered on Thursday nights from 6-8pm at the MLK Center at 1107 Adrian Street in Jackson.  Childcare and pizza dinner is also provided.

Spots are limited so call 5177884445 today to register and commit to a positive investment for you and your loved ones.
