Friend or Enemy – How to Make Your Computer Work For You (formerly Basic Utilities)

Now that you have created some files, how do you find them, organize them or delete them? This class will instruct you in how and where to save files, create folders, organize files, delete files and change some computer settings to make it easier to use.

Prerequisites: How Do I Turn This Darned Thing On or similar experience using a computer, mouse, keyboard and Windows. Users should know how and why to right click, left click and double click. 

 

Jackson District Library’s adult computer classes for February 2012 begin on February 1. Please guarantee your spot today for any of these classes by calling 517-788-4099 ext. 260.

Note:

  • All classes are FREE and offered at various times for your convenience.
  • SPACE IS VERY LIMITED - registration is required to reserve your spot.
  • Each class is only one session.  The information obtained is cumulative, what is learned in one session will be applied in later classes.
  • There is no limit on the number of classes you can take; sign up for one or the whole series.  You can repeat classes that you have taken in previous series, but please sign up for only one session of each class in this series.  Please call ahead to cancel.
