You are cordially invited to attend a Legislative Forum hosted by the Great Start Parent Coalition.

The intent of this forum is to review the proposed executive budget that Governor Snyder has released.  The proposed budget is now in the hands of the people and Members of the legislature.  This is the time to speak with legislators about concerns, changes and successes you see with the proposed budget that may affect children ages 0-5 and their families.  The feedback Jackson County gives our legislators may result in changes being recommended before the budget is finalized.

The Great Start Parent Coalition is a part of the local Great Start system that is focused on building a supportive network of parents and other caregivers to build leadership and advocacy skills to inform local, state and federal decision making on behalf of all young children.

Confirmed legislators include Senator Mike Nofs, Representative Earl Poleski and Representative Shirkey with a special invitation extended to Senator Randy Richardville.
